Mike Cave is a multi-Platinum award-winning record producer, mixer and mastering engineer.

Over the course of his career, Mike has worked with artists as diverse as Elvis Costello, KRS-One, Lewis Capaldi, Fatboy Slim, Bob Dylan, Gil Scott-Heron, Rufus Wainwright, The Charlatans, Echo & The Bunnymen and many more on a variety of award-winning and record breaking releases.

He’s also the owner of Loft Mastering, a high-end mastering facility based in Liverpool.

During our interview we talked about getting into mastering, mastering while mixing, becoming a project finisher, his plugin strategy, and much more.
